East of
Eden.
A modern organic wellbeing space with industrial-eclectic touches.
Raw materials,
soft modernism.
East of Eden is a leading wellbeing and fitness studio in the vibrant heart of Walthamstow. The brief was a supportive, inclusive and creative environment that reflected the brand’s “eco-industrial” and “modern organic” ethos.
The project was a complete fit-out of the main café and reception, a yoga studio, a dedicated ride studio and a reformer pilates studio. Working to Studio Milne’s design, we blended raw, utilitarian materials such as OSB shelving with soft, playful modernism in matte pastel tiles. Exposed ceiling services and textured glass blocks add the industrial and retro-modern notes.
The result is a layered, welcoming space that works as hard as the people training in it. In 2026 Garrity returned to East of Eden to deliver their new strength studio in the same light, calm palette.
Joinery that
works for a living.
Floor-to-ceiling OSB shelving built as retail display, storage and room divider in one. Raw board, precisely cut, with every edge finished by hand.
A ride studio
built for atmosphere.
Acoustic treatment, lighting infrastructure and a cloakroom fitted around the demands of a high-energy class, while keeping the same honest material language as the café.
Calm, by
design.
The reformer studio dials the palette down: soft light, clean lines and nothing to distract. Quiet detailing that lets the equipment and the instruction take the room.

Industrial bones. A warm, welcoming finish.
Commercial fit-outs run on programme and budget, but they are still judged by the finish. We bring the same hand-finished joinery and attention to detail from our residential work onto every site.
